This book explores the background, results, and recommendations of a four year initiative of education tours throughout Central and South America.  These tours provided eighty-five individuals from around the region the opportunity to view innovative education initiatives in eight countries and exchange ideas with other education professionals.  The tours helped to strengthen the leadership potential of teachers and local administrators and to increase their capacity to encourage change within the education system.
